Good days
We have had some really good days lately. Conditions are almost two good to be true with continuos snowfalls and three, four days of sun in-between. Some pictures below.
Snow was fluffy and perfect for one-turns. Seen through Mattias lens.
Another shot of me signed by Mattias. Love the lighting in this one.
Wille jumping of a huge cliff. Can you spot him?
I was trusted with the camera and could take this cover shot of Mattias. I even got to choose the zoom!
Recovering in the lift. It’s tiring being on the mountain for a full day.
Now I’m getting ready for a day of heliskiing with Mattias, Bergman and photographer Daniel Rönnbäck. Super stoked!

The valley next door
Yesterday Mattias, Eric and me went on a trip to ski in one of the small neighbour resorts close to Engelberg. The part of Switzerland where we live is famous for it’s many small cable cars, mainly privately owned by farmers using them to transport equipment etc. up the mountains.
We took one of these cable cars (it had room for about 8 people so it was larger than most) and came up in the valley behind Engelberg. There we started touring. None of us had the light equipment needed to go for a longer trip, but since we are keen skiers (and not mountineers) that wasn’t really what we wanted either. Instead we found a small playground area with pillows, and after 40 minutes of ”skinning” we were at the top of it.
The run down was great and we eventually found ourselves in the middle of a forest with just enough space inbetween the trees and just enough light snow on the ground to get really good skiing. It was so much fun, I’ll definitely go back soon!
The view from the top of the gondola.
Me and Eric touring.
The playground area. Cool pillows all the way down.
Good snow inbetween the trees.
See you around!

Deep Powder in Japan
Adam Widén and Christine Hargin went to Hakuba, Japan, to shoot some pictures and experience the almost mythical japanese powder and culture. Adam have a video series this winter together with telemark ripper Per Jonsson, cranky cab driver Olof Larsson and stand up guy Wille Lindberg. This is their first episode and it looks like there is plenty more good skiing and fun times to come during the winter. Check out more at http://www.sixmonths.se/

Good News!
Me, Wille Lindberg and Henrik Windstedt was nominated in ”Bigmountain skier of the year”
Got a bit suprised when I heard that I picked the prize. I thought Henke would win as always.
Nice to finally beat that guy in some way.
Couldn’t make it up to Stockholm for the Transiton Winter Awards so I thank my better half Krikkan Hargin for trowing down a rapgame on stage!

Oscar Scherlin second at London Freeze
Oscar, the mega-talent, has been under the radar contest wise for a while but proved during the London Freeze he is going for it this year. With a brand new shining trick, switch double cork 1260 mute and his normal world leading pop Oscar will for sure tear it apart this winter. Rumors has it that he got the silver-medal but that it should have been a gold, according to some of the opinion leaders in the game. Anyways, good job and congratulations Oscar!
And since it is your lucky day, here are some crashes from the same competition as well.
