Adam Widén and Christine Hargin went to Hakuba, Japan, to shoot some pictures and experience the almost mythical japanese powder and culture. Adam have a video series this winter together with telemark ripper Per Jonsson, cranky cab driver Olof Larsson and stand up guy Wille Lindberg. This is their first episode and it looks like there is plenty more good skiing and fun times to come during the winter. Check out more at http://www.sixmonths.se/

Me, Wille Lindberg and Henrik Windstedt was nominated in ”Bigmountain skier of the year”
Got a bit suprised when I heard that I picked the prize. I thought Henke would win as always.
Nice to finally beat that guy in some way.
Couldn’t make it up to Stockholm for the Transiton Winter Awards so I thank my better half Krikkan Hargin for trowing down a rapgame on stage!

Adam Widén is doing the most of summer. Skating, swimming and hanging out with friendly friendster Wille Lindberg.

Back home in Karlskoga for a while after a really good and fun winter. The competition in SMBC held a high standard as usual. I had two good runs and one with a crash, so no place on the podium this year either. Ended up at 19th place in the end.
I snowboarded two times this winter and it was so much fun, just had to compete in the snowboard class as well. The qualifications went super great and I held a fifth position in both classes before the finals. The qualifications was enough for me on snowboard, it got a little bit too steep and hard at the final face. Ended up at 11th place in the snowboard class.

Qualifications, Christine is helping me to find the direction...

Did a 360 on the last cliff in the first final run, something that I regrets since I over rotated and slammed.

Final run number one, some of the hardest snow I ever skied (except Japan)

Socializing on the top with “top 6”. This was the last we saw of Mosse (the guy in the light green jacket), before he was tumbling down the mountain. He´s feeling well, considering the circumstances.

Final run number two, got up two minutes before my run and had just time to take a breath and go for it. Nailed my 360 in the second run, felt really nice!

One thing is certain; I got the baddest and meanest SMBC t-shirt.

Celebrated my 25th birthday in advance with my sister Mia-Linn and Christine Hargin. A big WOW on that evening!

Met Tony Alva on “Västerbron” (bridge in Stockholm), he did his usual pose.

First day of the finals is over and Matilda holds currently 3th and Christine 6th place. Best of the guys was Jesper who currently holds 16th place, both Adam and Emanuel crashed today and ended up at 24th and 32th place. Adam holds currently the 11th place on snowboard.
Good luck tomorrow guys, go for it!
