I went on a short but sweet trip to Röldal for the FWT stop. It was a rainy and snowy trip with some uncertainties over the fact where the competition where to be held. After some mishaps with spontaneous avalanches and different calls, the sun popped out and it was go-time! And good enough for me i ended up on top of the podium! Weey!
This is the face we finally rode on. The avalanche in the pictures left happened by itself when we all stood in the bottom looking up thru our binoculars. After some discussions the guides took the decision that it was safe, but not safe enough to hike. That led to a sweet helicopter ride to the top which i can´t complain about. J
This was the third option as competition face. It was never rideable but a nice picture taken from our balcony none the less.

Adam Widén and Christine Hargin went to Hakuba, Japan, to shoot some pictures and experience the almost mythical japanese powder and culture. Adam have a video series this winter together with telemark ripper Per Jonsson, cranky cab driver Olof Larsson and stand up guy Wille Lindberg. Oscar, the mega-talent, has been under the radar contest wise for a while but proved during the London Freeze he is going for it this year. With a brand new shining trick, switch double cork 1260 mute and his normal world leading pop Oscar will for sure tear it apart this winter. Rumors has it that he got the silver-medal but that it should have been a gold, according to some of the opinion leaders in the game. Anyways, good job and congratulations Oscar!

Legendary ski film company Down Film is soon premiering their 12th ski movie called Free Radicals – The Sunny Side. You can see it for the first time in Gothenburg the 21th of october. Christine Hargin and Adam Widén are representing the SOS colours in it and i have heard they will leave no-one disappointed. See you there!

While most of you guys have been enjoying summer and a cold beer at the pool. We headed down to Chile/Argentina to shred some pow pow.
It has been really great down there lots of good food and of course some powder. In the middle of august there was a stop of the Freeskiing world tour in chile. I luckily got a wildcard. Check the my runs:
