The preseason this year has been extraordinary and Engelberg continues to deliver snow, about 70 cm so far this week. After three weeks of hard work to get the hotel ready for the opening, yesterdays skiing was the perfect reward. We where only a few keen skiers on the mountain and as the sky cleared we saw untouched snow everywhere. Our Laub runs in the morning was just unbelievable and after a nice rösti (a must in Switzerland) we skied Steinberg for the first time this season. I wish I could explain how good it was…
